Get in agreement with God

Daily Devotion 24/12/2025.
“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.” (Luke 1:34–35, NIV)
When angel Gabriel came to Mary with God's His will that she would give birth to the Messiah, it seemed impossible. To have a baby without a man defies the laws of nature and logic. But the angel didn’t get upset when she asked how. He simply helped her have a new perspective.
She got in agreement with God's Word and didn’t let her human reasoning talk her out of it. God is going to put His will in your heart that don’t make sense. Are you going to keep seeing them only from a human point of view? It’s not going to happen by your own strength, intellect, or hard work. The Spirit of the living God will make it happen.
It’s going to be supernatural, something you can’t explain or take credit for. Everyone will know that it’s the hand of God. Alleluyah!
Prayer: “Father, thank You for choosing Mary to carry out your will by the grace and power of your Holy Spirit. Thank You because the same Spirit is at work in me to do your will. I won’t talk myself out of it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
