God-led Life

Daily Devotion 20/12/2025.

Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. (Romans 8:14 NIV)

Beloved, we were created by God to be led. Although, He gave each of us a Will to make choices. Our will is meant to be submitted to His will. Look up some of the words we use a lot like: "The Lord is my shepherd...", "Jesus is Lord", "the Lord is my light...!"...etc. Lord! means "Owner!" "Shepherd" means "guide", "director"...etc.

We were not created to be self-led, but Lord-led. This is the true mark of a child of God. All who ever walked with Him, who created victorious generational pathways, were led by Him. Independence from God is the devil's playground. No man can win the devil on his ground.

We are about to celebrate Christmas because a young lady, called Mary, submitted her will to God's will. She allowed the Lord to shepherd her through the field of Life. Look at how a young woman's submission brought about the birth of the divine saviour! Imagine what your submission to God’s leading will give birth to!

As we celebrate Christmas, let us use the opportunity to unlearn our self-led ways, renew our minds, and willingly allow God's Word to lead us through the terrors by night, the arrows that flies by day, and the destruction that wastes at noonday. (Psalm 91) God bless you.
