Magnify God!

Daily Devotion 01/12/2025.

I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. (Philippians 4:11–12, NKJV)

Beloved, you have something the people in the world lacks: Joy! It’s a virtue in you, and it is from the Lord. You can have something you are not using. You have to make the decision to be joyful daily. If you don’t learn to be grateful for what you have, you’ll grow sour and unhappy.

No one has it all! The desire of mankind can never be satisfied. There will always be something new to crave for unless you make up your mind to live a life of contentment. And it's all connected to your focus in life. Are you living for God or living your self dreams?

It is wisdom to change your focus. If living for God is your focus, that’s easy. All you need is to allow Him to lead while you follow sheepishly. But if you are building your tower, your world, it will weary you because it will never stop. Get out of that rat race and come over into joy.

Joy because what the Lord started in your life is still in play. Connect eternally to the bigger plan. Make a decision that you are going to live your life happily; knowing that the creator, who is your father, is firmly seated on His eternal throne.

HE IS BIGGER. Learn to magnify him always in praise, in worship, and in meditating on His written Word. Living like this will paralyse every desire for competition. You are so blessed to know these. Amen.
