Never Doubt His Word

Daily Devotional 12/12/2025.

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”(Genesis 3:1, NIV)

The Scripture warns us to be aware of the enemy’s schemes, to be knowledgeable of his strategies. Most times, the temptation he brings is subtle. It’s just a whisper of doubt. Unchecked doubts have the capacity to paralyze the result of God’s word in your life.

Doubt, on its own, is powerless. Doubt is empowered when it is entertained and accommodated. In the Garden of Eden, the serpent came to Eve and said: Did God really say…?” It wasn’t overwhelming. It was just a question: A whisper of doubt. God’s instruction is clear, give no place to the devil. Give no room for doubts.

His Word is Yes and Amen. Doubts does not make you human, it makes you vulnerable. Paralyze those thoughts by remembering the faithfulness of God in your life and those around you. Beloved, count your blessings! Whispers may come: Oh! Remember the doctor's report! Can't you just face reality? Be real!!

These thoughts, and the likes, will always come like a flood. But, it is too late to discourage your faith in Christ. Unfortunately for the devil, your love for the Lord is stronger than death. You’re already moving forward and upward! God bless your efforts in Jesus name!
