Daily Devotion 19/11/2025.
If someone listens to God’s word but doesn’t do what it says,
He is like a person who looks at his face in a mirror, studies his features, goes away, and immediately forgets what he looks like. (James 1:23–24, GW)
Beloved, God’s Word is your life-mirror. It reflects who you really are. What God says about you is the true image that you need to keep in front of you. Don't embrace people's myopic definition. It's not about your past, how you were raised, or your performances. Your perfect definition is with your Creator.
Moses was defined by His life in Pharaoh’s palace and his victories as a prince of Egypt. As you can see, Moses was born to save and establish the nation of Israel on earth. He embraced His true divine destiny and succeeded. Don’t die in people's definitions of you. It's a deception of the devil. This Devil is afraid of your true destiny.
People of Israel tried to make Jesus their king. Their vision of him was distorted by their prevalent situation. They needed freedom from the Romans! This is the same today, people define you based on their selfish plans and motives. As their greed grows, so their need of someone to satisfy it...probably not you this time. People do change!
But God doesn't change His view of you. He knows you in-Toto. Beware, He will only judge you by the original definitions He had all along. Now, this is a gate you must go through finally. Please, work on your papers. Fortunately, your papers are with Him. It’s time to know the real you from His Word. God bless you.
