The world look to you

Daily Devotion 10/11/2025.

Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; (1 Peter 3:15  NKJV)

Someone is looking at you. People study you, to know if you are just like them or different. If different, is it something they would have loved to be? Beloved, the people in the world know who a true child of God is. Sometimes you hear them say to you jokingly…hope you are praying for me?

They are spiritually uncomfortable when they see you living like them. Everyone in darkness desires light. The world around you is hungry for real answers. They learn from the temptations they see you overcome. The anger you controlled, the lust you paralysed, the revenge you subdued, the greed you arrested...etc.

Without words, they see answers to their challenges from you. Sometimes, they persecute you because your kingdom lifestyle exposes their darkness. But the day they need the Lord, they will run to you. This is who you are: the Light of the world; planted by God to give light to those in darkness! (Matthew 5: 14-16)

Some are bold to ask you how you changed from the person they used to know. You’ve got to get your answers ready. Your personal testimony is your answer. Remember, no one can see God because He is a Spirit; but they can see His nature and power in His child's life…that is you! 🫵🏻

I pray that your life will continue to bring answers to those you meet, and people around you. I pray that you will continue to be that city on a hill set by God to bring sinners back home to the Lord, in Jesus mighty name! Amen.
